While the Xbox Adaptive Controller works with all games available on Xbox One today, 4A Games has worked closely with Microsoft to further streamline the experience while playing Metro Exodus.
When an Xbox Adaptive Controller is detected, an in-game pop up notification appears; clicking the notification opens the Xbox Accessories app where gamers have the option to create custom profiles through button mapping.
In addition, within the game's Controller Options Menu the controller layout images are updated to show the Xbox Adaptive Controller when an Xbox Adaptive Controller is connected.
Within the game’s Controller Options Menu we also added a menu option that is a deeplink to the Xbox Accessories app as well for further ease of use.
These changes streamline playing Metro Exodus with the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
